A Munich-based manufacturer of electronic component packaging equipment was developing a new generation of high-precision packaging machines and needed to select heating elements. Their core requirements included compliance with the EU CE certification, temperature control accuracy within ±0.8°C in a 0.1mm heating zone, and suitability for 24/7 non-stop operation.

Initially, the company tried working with two German heating element brands, but neither met expectations. Products from the first brand had temperature control errors exceeding ±1°C, failing the process requirements. While the second brand met the accuracy standard, their elements developed localized overheating after 72 hours of continuous operation, posing a potential equipment risk. Following a recommendation from a partner at an industry trade fair, the German company connected with Hongtai.
At the beginning of the collaboration, the German team had three main concerns: the Chinese supplier's familiarity with European certification standards, the efficiency of cross-border communication, and product stability under intense operating conditions. In response, the Hongtai team spent five days analyzing the equipment drawings and process requirements, referencing German technical standards for the electronics packaging industry to develop an initial proposal.Hongtai also assigned a technical specialist to communicate during European business hours to minimize time zone delays.

Twelve days later, three samples arrived in Munich via DHL. Test results showed that during 24-hour non-stop operation, the temperature control error remained stable within ±0.8°C. After 100 hours of continuous operation, the tube surface temperature was evenly distributed with no signs of localized overheating. Disassembly inspection revealed compact magnesium oxide filling and neat sensor wiring, meeting German technical standards.
Subsequently, the German company placed an order for 200 heating elements at the end of last year. Hongtai completed production two days ahead of schedule, including the CE certification report, material test certificates, and product traceability labels with the shipment. Early this year, citing a 5% increase in equipment packaging yield rate, the German client placed a follow-up order for 300 units and requested a custom size.
Hongtai's ability to meet international certification standards, responsiveness in sample delivery, expertise in heating element structural design, and attention to detail in cross-border communication earned the trust of the German company, establishing a long-term partnership.
