IR Halogen Infrared Heating Tube For Blow Molding Machine
Shortwave halogen IR lamps (IR-A) that have been specially developed for technical applications. They consist of a tungsten heating filament and a quartz tube. The diameter of the filament is smaller than the diameter of the quartz tube. therefore spacers/support rings are used to keep the filament in the centre of the tube which prevents the filament from direct contacting with the quartz tube. Quartz glass is highly transparent to infrared radiation up to a wavelength of 4,000 nm, which ensures that the heat radiation is emitted with minimum loss.
The filling contains halogen additives and Argon in order to avoid blackening of the lamps and to ensure a longer lamp life. Pinching of the tube is also done and this prevents the filament from sagging under its weight when installed in a vertical position.

Standard emitters are designed for horizontal operation. The emitters are modified for vertical operation.
Emitters are available in different designs and can be one-side or two-side connected.
A gold coating of the emitter ensures that the effective radiation is virtually doubled.
A white/ namo reflector of the emitter ensures that the effective radiation is approximately 70%.
